HOPE TO SHINE

OVERVIEW
Built during dsmHack's 2026 Design Jam, this project was a fast-paced, team effort to rebuild a non-profit's brand from the ground up. Over a 24-hour period, our team created a whole new set of resources and ideas to help Hope To Shine connect with their communities. Because changing policies meant they needed a fresh start, we handled the entire rebrand completely from scratch.
My main focus during these 24 hours of volunteering was designing and building the new branding kit. It serves as the foundation of the project, giving the organization a fresh look to support their mission and community work.
FEATURES
The branding kit features unique color guidelines, custom logos, and organizational identity.
The assets include strict usage rules for primary, secondary, and tertiary palettes as well as full gradient and shade configurations. For distinct visual presentation, the kit has three custom-built logo variants which showcase organizational strength in a professional manner. For team alignment, the collection includes a complete typography guide as well as a brand language system with voice, tone, and personality frameworks built in.
All assets were built using SVGs, which allows for the organization to have ultra-high resolution even when scaling up very large, like for a vehicle livery.
